This phone comes with all the ordinary features a person who starts using smart phones would want in their phone. The resolution of the screen is 240 x 320 pixels, not even near to the brightness and clearance which other Samsung Galaxy phones offer to its users. Its appropriate 97.5 g weight is quite light and easy to carry around in the pockets. However, this phone is slightly heavier than other phones available in the market in this size. It has got 3 inch capacitive touch-screen with very good touch senses. It also has two touch sensitive keys at the front lower part of the phone with one home key in the center. The side panels contain volume up and down plus the lock/unlock key. Its limited features however do not really give you a chance to explore the whole world like all other Samsung Galaxy phones usually do.

This phone was actually designed for youngsters as the ‘Y’ letter is self-explanatory in the name of the phone. Its low price attracts the youngsters at once because who wouldn’t like buying a smart phone without making a hole in their pocket! On the contrary, music junkies tend to disapprove of it because it has no earphones in its package. This is the phone that almost every teenager would like to start off their experience with smart phones, but with increasing workload it would surely not fulfill their growing memory demands as its internal memory is just 180 MB. However, it does support microSD card up to 32GB.
Just not the best picture
Its 2MP camera might please the young innocent users but it’s surely not the feature most of the smart phone users would long for. Taking your own pictures is just not possible as this phone does not even a secondary camera. A bad news for those who love taking their own pictures!

This phone uses Android Operating System v2.3.5 (Gingerbread) with TouchWiz UI. Plus it has got an 832 MHz processor which is good enough for the price that it offers. Its in-built Bluetooth v3.0 gives you a chance to connect with your surroundings to share the stuff you adore. On the other hand, it enables the users to browse through their favorite sites, play online games and do social networking with its WiFi 802.11 with hotspot functionality.
All in all, this is the best phone for any teenager who would like to start off with their smart phone journey but to the entire corporate world out there, other Samsung Galaxy smart phones are much better option to go with!
